So Far So Good

So far this weekend things are going way better than last weekend. Not eating everything in sight! I have been following my plan to a tee. I have exercised every day for the last week. Drinking tons of water. I really want to get over 70 lbs lost and hit 71 lbs lost. I have been maintaining too long here.

I read an article the other day. It was labled "choose your hard". Basically it was saying that being overweight it hard and so is loosing weight. What one makes you feel better? Thats right, choose your hard. Thats going to be my new motto.

Tomorrow my day starts at 4 a.m. It will be a very long day to get thru. Hopefully I can portion my food for the day throughout the day so I dont blow it tomorrow night. Wish me luck.

Not as Bad as I Thought

I officially weighed and my fend feast over the weekend wasn't as bad as I thought. I actually stayed the same. Thats all I ask really. I want to maintain at least till I can start walking again out the campground. We are out there almost every day and it is so easy to kick off a couple miles out there for sure.
I found a new recipe. Spegetti squash with zuccini/tomatoe sauce over it. Was yummy and actually tasted like spegetti. Rock on.

I am watching American Idol right now and after..........elliptical!! Oh Joy!

My Exercise Equipment



I thought I would show you my work out stuff I bought this fall. I did most of my exercise in the summer walking and I was freaking out that when it got cold my movement would cease. So I went out and got an elliptical and a matching exercise bike! Best thing I could of done. I wanted to maintain my lose over the winter months but I actually lost another 20 lbs! So my rule is if I am watching tv I have to be on one or the other. And when I hit my desired length of time I may them sit down and watch the remainer of my show. Pretty good rules huh?

Eating Fest at Great Wolf Lodge

Well that was fun. I basically let myself eat whatever and whenever I wanted over the weekend. And boy did I ever. Cookies and bagels and cheese and tacos and donuts. Basically a little bit of everything. And Mcdonalds resturant twice!! OMG!! Well, I guess I got that out of my system. I thought I would expand way more energy than I actually did. But I really didnt do much. I was in the water and what not but I only went up the stairs to the big slides 8-10 times. That was it! The kids were off doing thier own thing and really didnt want to do the slides. I hit the hot tub much more.

On the up side............I did look outstanding in my new swimsuit. (picture to come) I had bought 6 to choose from and even did a little cat walk parade in each one for their opinion. The one that was picked was the one that I actually felt the best in. I sent all the other ones back. So I guess that gives me insentive to keep plugging along. Summer will be here soon and I still want to look outstanding in my suit.

So I will write this weekend off as a free weekend and start over fresh on Monday morning. No need to let two days ruin it all for me. I can do this!!!

Actually I am drinking water like mad right now. It is weird how your body gets used to all that water and when you miss a few days you are parched like no other. Should help for something eh?

So Clost To 70 Pounds Lost!

Oh my Gosh! Like I said, one step forward and two steps back. Can I ever get there? It seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Then I step back and look at where I actually started from. Seventy pounds ago I would never have thought I would have lost 70 pounds in 10 months. So then I just keep on keeping on. (I think that is my favorite saying, keep on keeping on). I know I can do this. I wont give up. I have come to far to let it all go now. My clothes fit me great now, I have energy, stamina. It's all good. I guess i will go get on the elliptical now. Out!

Actually Ran A Little!

I went for a night walk around the town and decided to see if I could actually run a bit. I figured no one would be gawking out the window at me if they coundnt see me huh? Well, I did run. Not a whole long way but it felt good that I could do it. I think I have a long way to go to make a mile in one shot but I guess you have to start somewhere.
Still walking two times a week and riding the elliptical and stationary bike the other days. Havent done the wii lately. I should get on it tonight. I already did half hour workout this morning. But I am trying a new thing. The only way I get to watch tv is if I am working out in front of it. Then after the workout I can continue the program. Will see how it goes. I do know it goes so much faster on the elliptcal if you are into a good show. Other wise it is sooooo boring. But isnt all exercise boring?
